Haxton Way Detour

Detour May 11-25, 2017

Haxton Way will be closed to all vehicle traffic from Lummi Shore Drive to the roundabout at Kwina Road, from Thursday, May 11 for about two weeks until May 25. The newly opened Lummi Shore Drive will serve as the detour during this closure. 

Haxton Way on the main route between Lummi Island and Interstate 5, through the Lummi Nation the mainland. A fish-friendly passage will be installed where Smuggler’s Slough passes under Haxton Way.
