There might be trouble in River City, but this production of The Music Man promises to make a happy return to Lummi Island.

In 1993 that heartbreaker Marion the Librarian was played by Miranda Barker in a striking red dress, with Christopher Eklund as Harold Hill, the Music Man. Now 24 years later the dress takes the Rock Island again.

Lummi Island Summer Theatre Camp has been rehearsing with 42 campers from the ages of five to fourteen. There will be two casts performing two shows a day Friday through Sunday, July 21 to 23.

Ticket price is by donation and all proceeds support Lummi Island Foundation for Education's mission to help sustain education at Beach School and on Lummi Island.
