Normal vehicle ferry service scheduled to begin September 29, 2016

Every year in September, the Lummi Island ferry Whatcom Chief goes into dry dock for maintenance at a shipyard. Since there is no substitute vehicle ferry, this means pedestrian service only. 2016 dry dock lasts for at least 3 weeks. More dry dock information here.
